Provo, Utah - Centro Hispano honors graduates who have successfully completed its Electricity Classes. The electricity course is for basic home use and maintenance, taught by Pro. Mauricio Silva. Some of the graduates sent in letters to Centro Hispano thanking them and Silva for the great work and effort that was put forth in making the Electricity Classes possible:

“First of all, I would like to thank Centro Hispano for the opportunity to take part in these programs for the Hispanic community. Thank you to Mauricio Silva for your time and dedication to this course. My motivation to enter this electricity course was my desire to become a better person and have a new trade. Thank you to my wife, for motivating me and keeping me going forward. I entered this class through Mr. Ernesto Nunez. I found him two days before the start of the classes and he was the one who invited me to join. Once again, thank you to Centro Hispano for giving the opportunity to move ahead in life. Thank you.”

- Roberto Nava

“I want to thank all of the people that work and make it possible for Centro Hispano to have their doors open for all the people that need any kind of assistance.  Also, I want to give a very special thanks to Mr. Mauricio Silva for all that he taught us during the course. I have been looking a long time for a place that I could learn more about electricity, but I could not find one until I read in the newspaper about the course. I did not think twice and decided to take the course. For me these electricity classes were very important because they allowed me to learn many new and interesting things. Thanks to these classes I was able to meet very good people with strong desires to help and progress. Since this course started, I have tried to never let any learning opportunity that can help me in the future pass me by. I feel very fortunate to have participated in these classes, and I want to again say that I am thankful for this grand opportunity.”

I think it's great that Mr. Silva taught these people a new trade. Hopefully they can apply this new knowledge to a career. I know there is a lot of demand for electricians and other trade professionals in many cities across the U.S..
