This service is provided through a partnership with the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and attorneys throughout the area. Third-year law students, under the direction of a faculty member, come to Centro Hispano and answer clients’ basic questions about legal issues such as immigration law, divorce, landlord/tenant issues, and labor issues (i.e. termination and nonpayment of wages). Additional assessment is provided by attorneys through a series of workshops where questions are answered about specific laws.
