Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC)
This service is sponsored by the Taxpayer Advocate, whose purpose is to educate members of the community about their tax rights and responsibilities. The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic advocates for low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in audits, appeals, collection issues, and federal cases that need to go to court. This service is ongoing and open to the entire community.
